For a long time I've wanted an option to limit my Android phone to only charge to 80%. But it didn't exist. It would optionally slow charge to help battery longevity, but no charge limit.
OK, most phones are classed as disposable these days, but it would be nice to at least have the option of it lasting longer ..
Then, suddenly, this has appeared ! Presumably from an update and I've not changed any settings ..
The curious thing is .. if charging is limited to 80% UNTIL you unplug your phone .... how does it magically charge above that once it's not connected to a power source ?
