Anyone with the 2020 or 2021 AllMtn 3 or 4 on here ? Searched the forum and there’s not much info on them. Seem like a great bike for your money to me

Edit - So I’ve been comparing components and it seems the 3 comes with SX Eagle whereas the 4 Shimano SLX

Also get the Lyric fork on the 4 but Yaris on the 3

Magura MT5 brakes on the 4, Shimano MT420’s on the 3

Think I’ve convinced myself I prefer the AllMtn 4, but was off to see a 3 tomorrow, mmm

Pulled the trigger earlier and paid a deposit for the new AllMtn 4. Collecting next week! Stoked

Not really helpful now (as you've purchased) but I have the 2020 3.5 and it's absolutely brilliant, the Magura MT7 brakes are amazing and the Rockshox suspension at both ends is sublime. You'll be more than happy with your choice !!

That’s great to know thanks. I was looking for the 3.5 after realising the 3.0 came with a fairly cheap groupset, but the 3.5 is no longer and so went with the new 4.0. Had a quick test ride of a 5.0 on the streets outside the LBS to try out for size and it felt great

Nice looker that. I thought youd gone the whole hog and put a deposit down on Haibikes new £10k SE there for a mo. Looks very similar (y)

Haha no chance, that SE looks fantastic but way past my budget! I still can’t quite get over the fact that a decent full suspension EMTB costs over £4.5k but now knowing how much fun they are I just bit the bullet and went for the AllMtn 4.0. Got a little deal with our friends at the York shop so that softened the blow somewhat

The SE is funny money for sure. Way out of my budget and in a different universe in terms of skills needed to get close to its capabilities.

Its barmy isnt it? these bike prices. I got mine after owning a very old GT rigid MTB for 20 years which cost me £600 at the time. Lashing £3k on any bike blew my mind I have to say and Im even contemplating 'trading up'. I must be mad! Still though your new ride looks beaut!!! Lovely spec too, even better if you got a good deal. ?

The SE isn't going to be in any way a better bike to ride than the 7, its got a lot bling on it, but nothing that actually is any better in terms of of performance - probably the only genuinely "better" components on it are the Wheels.

it does look the nuts. Who is likely to go for the SE over a 7 do you think?

TBH I cant see why anyone would go for the SE over other bikes at that kind of price Level - the pricing of the rest of the All Mtn range makes them excellent value against what else is available at the same price, but at 10k you are up against bikes that are fundamentally better than the Haibike - bikes like the Santa Cruz Bullet, or the top end Trek Rails, are just better bikes.

Thats not me slating the Haibike, its just that at that price point the completion is fierce, and you are looking at the best of the best.
