160Wh is the legal limit, some airlines are just full of BS. From what I have found our you can take 2 x 160Wh range extenders as carry on, you do need to notify them that you intend on having them though.

the Osprey Farpoint 40. It's a versatile backpack that usually meets airline carry-on requirements and has enough space to accommodate your Kenevo SL securely.
Seriously? The only way I'd get my bike in that backpack is to put it in an industrial car crusher first!
Even if I stripped it down to individual parts, I'm not getting a single 29" wheel in there.

I have an Evoc xl an it barely fit my s3 enduro. So I purchased one of the DouchBags Savage. If you can find them in stock it's one of the best bags out there way more room than the Evoc and much sturdier.

As far as flying you can remove the battery and ship it to the hotel you will be staying at just call ahead and let the front desk know people do the same with golf clubs.

We use Dakine roller bags for our MTBs, but I would probably not ever fly with an eMTB for many of the reasons discussed above. Dealing with the battery is a giant PITA. I'd likely just rent one.

maybe you need to take all the spokes out first
grind the bike down into metal dust and it might fit

Huh? May be possible if you are NOT flying overseas - then you may be able to ship the battery via (hazmat) ground shipping, which is not easy or cheap to do.

I’ve never traveled with my e-bike though, too much of a ball ache dealing with the battery.
Yeah the ball ache is real and heavy.

With that said i recently did a 10 Day tour of Tasmania.. none of us took e bikes. But I would have smashed more laps and got more value more money out of my trip if I'd managed to overcome the ball ache.

I'm going to figure out a method to get the e to the destination with a battery.

That might be buying a second battery that I can ship via the slow boat around the world whilst still being able to use my ebike while it ships

Buy the second battery at your destination, then leave it there or ship it to your predicted next destination etc.

I’ve been looking into options, and I recently had a good experience with State Bags customer service when I needed help with a different product. It gave me confidence in their service, so I’m hoping to find a similar level of support for my battery shipment.
Can anyone recommend a good travel bag? I’ve seen one from Orvis that costs close to £300! I need a bag that can fit 3 or 4 four-piece rods, reels, flies, and other accessories, and it needs to be compact enough to fit in the car boot. I’m having trouble finding affordable options—any suggestions would be appreciated!
