My wife's giant seems to be very susceptible to water around the handlebar controller and after searching on here i got a bottle of ACF 50 off ebay , do you guys spray/wipe it over the controller ? I plan on taking the motor cover off and disconnecting the wires and spraying some in each connector and then on back of them is this the right way ? . Plan to do my rail as well

ACF 50 isn't really a waterproofer, it's a water repellant and corrosion inhibitor. I've used it on my motorcycles for years but recently switched to XCP rust blocker which performs better. To waterproof connectors open them up and use silicone grease, but not too much or the pressure of mating the connectors back together will deform the seals. A little squirt of ACF on the back won't hurt.

A word of warning, don't get it anywhere near your brake rotors/saddle/grips etc, it's seriously slippery stuff! Even a slight mist on your rotors and you'll have a bad day.
