let me tell you a story... a weirdo story..
i was following an interesting arriving (yeti 160e) when i read @Zimmerframe 's post and i could not avoid to be attracted by the final praxis issue.
i have praxis crank, not so good as the ones in the video but anyway..praxis.
so my first instinct was share this video inside the closed group of levo and kenevo sl owners on facebook
just a post with the video and the question "have you seen it?"
result: post deleted and my name banned. take it easy let me know what's happening..there is a rule about youtube but if the video concerns sl models this is allowed. i wrote to the admin inviting him to give me some explications and to watch the video until the end.
after one day of silence he wrote me back "There is other Levo SL groups you can join go and join them . The praxis works European manager is in this group and the reason for the video deletion. "

now...a great company that works with a fantastic company like @Specialized Rider Care should avoid doing this.
the video is a "feedback", my post is a post of a customer with concerns, anyway there is no offenses neither attacks or vulgarity and even though you don't like the video..just delete the video. don't shoot at the poster..and if you can not avoid all these things at least avoid to be linked to an administrator that tells everything to the first comer...
maybe is just an excuse, maybe nothing is true...but it is so linear that seems possible.

@Zimmerframe i'm a manger too and i live and growth with feedbacks...but i have colleagues that spent time to discourage negative feedbacks...it's just an attitude..
as you said the video is still there..anyway..i was watching the five ten under the wheel because i have the same..;) and i feel safer now

in a closed group you know that everyone in there has yours same object...same issue same pleasure etc..
but you are right i was there just for this exchange and now that i'm banned i'm happy too..

As a non facebooker I cannot understand why people go on to it to discuss shit when they could just join a forum like this.
Often because they are already on Arsebook and they are too lazy/stupid to join forums. If you look at the topics and responses, it's not the cream of the crop posting most of the time...

And if your group gets big enough, it's possible to monetize it.

interesting freezeframe..........not only did the non drive crank break ( whoever thought carbon was a good idea for cranks?!!) but the drive side crank does not look to be 180 degrees from it and also looks like the pedal is sloping outwards towards the ground!

I respect that @Rob Rides EMTB and his crew have bills to pay and they do an amazing job providing a free platform for us to share experiences/stories without over the top advertising or letting companies control the narrative but this "story about a story" does tingle my eyebrows

Nice to see that Praxxix accept that it could be a manufacturing flaw.

I do wonder how many people have had warranty refused at shop level though. It almost happened to me when I cracked an ally crank on my Powerfly, but I insisted the shop pursue it and keep me copied on all email correspondence. Trek seemed to agree that is was in fact a warranty issue and sent out new cranks.

You are right. Insisting is in my dna, make things happen is more effective than waiting…for a natural reaction from seller or manufacters..

Yes Praxis are being very even handed in their response. Fabricating carbon parts is labour intensive so there is always the scope for a fault especially where that part is being made in high volumes. It is also a point well made that any impact on a carbon part may weaken it without any visible signs of damage..........and lead to catostrophic failure the next time the part is stressed. The latter is the reason ( apart from cost without significant benefit) I choose not to use any carbon parts on my EMTBs.

Been riding 160mm praxis carbon cranks on my eZesty for a year. Several big rock strikes.

So far no issues.

Stuff breaks. That’s why we have warranties. It’s how the manufacturer handles them that counts. Seems like Praxis is doing the right thing which gives me the confidence to buy from them in the future.

Guys,
seems that we are talking about the manufacter praxis…but i started talking about little men that had lost the opportunity to do the right thing.
the test is not a scientific test..to be serious must be repeated few times with same conditions etcetc.
so don't add weight to a simple test.
but…that's why you can not ask to delete a video or ban a person from a group of owners of praxis cranks due to a share of public materials..this makes me suspicious ?
