48 Hour Demo Weekend - Where to go and other tips appreciated? (Southwest England/South Wales)

I'm based in Swindon and I'm getting a Specialized Levo for a Demo Weekend 2/3 June. I'll do local trails on the Friday night but I'm wondering where might be worth a drive to. I like XC trail riding more than enduro DH. Any other tips would be great.

Swinley is about an hour ish from you. The trails there are pretty tame and you could get a fair bit of XC around the forest too.

FoD is fairly easy to get to from Swindon. I’d be happy to show you some off piste stuff as well as the marked trails.

I wonder if I could combine bike park Wales with FOD. Will also look at Swinley. I have a full pass for the weekend as Mrs and kids off on a cruise.
