Tried to fit a set 29" wheels in my e-spark 710 contessa. Front wheel should work (lose the mudguard), but rearwheel wont fit. Do i do something wrong. And it seems there is no flip-chip on this version of e-spark. Current set-up is 27,5x2,8 Maxxis Rekon.

I’m not sure I really understand the question. It’s almost as if you have a bike built for 27.5” wheels/tires and are wondering why 29” wheels/tires don’t fit......
Yes, some bikes with 27,5 + boost wheels(27,5×2,8) can fit 29x2,6 boost wheels. And i thought all 27,5 + wheels could be switched with 29ers.
Thats the great advantage off Boost wheels.

So then, is the 29” wheel with tire not fitting due to diameter or width spacing at the hub?
The diameter is the problem. The e- spark contessa seems to have a to schort schainstay and I'm afraid that 29x2.4 will lower the BB to much.

I was hoping someone would replay that it could be done and i was just doing something wrong.?

Nah man. Just run a 2.35 rear and pay more attention to your pedaling plan.

or rock the 29”. One of the profree riders I ride with can do everything on a 29 that he can do on a 26. Which makes me look at myself like I should give my bikes away......
Think i just go for Mulet set-up. 29x2.4 front and 27,5x2.4( or2,6) rear.
And hopefully pedaling wil be good. Don't want to change to shorter cranck arms.

My riding is single track and stuff, no bike park. Always keping wheels on the ground.?✌
