23 Orbea Rise M20 EN600-L Remote Upgrade

Just took ownership of a new 23 Orbea Rise. Need some advice on the en600-l control unit. I am planning to pair my phone to the unit using the Shimano “E-TUBE” app. Last bike I rode was a yeti 160e and it had a SC-EM800 unit installed. This unit had a screen and I did like the rpm gauge, battery percentage, power modes. Since I have a phone mount I’m curious if it’s worth upgrading to the sc-em800 or just use the etube app via phone??. Does the wiring match up? Simple swap? Just figure in situations where my phone may die or I just don’t want it on my handlebars I will still have some data to rely on. Thoughts??

SC EN600L has got BT connectivity. You can pair your phone with it using Shimano E-Tube and E-Tube Ride app. Or if youl like to use an additional display you can add the new EN600B unit. It does not have any buttons. It uses the buttons of the EN600L. Wiring should not be a problem. All connections are plug in types.
