Hey Guys,
New to the e-bike stuff here. Something I noticed with the new norco vlt's is if you get even a little bit of dust or dirt where the battery fixing bolt is, the bolt could almost cross-thread. It happened to me twice when I was changing batteries.
So I just used a light pick or wire brush to clean the threads. Then it would bolt back in smooth. I also think by design they made the bolts a bit softer to avoid cross threading the female end on the motor plate.
Its kind of an odd design bolting the battery in place because its a blind process, you would expect the bolt to go in straight based on the design but it seems any bit of dirt/dust could get it offline.
Anyway just thought I would share that bit of info.
Cheers
