The vest uses D3O's Viper back protector, the back protector has an ergonomic design for maximum coverage along the back with Airwave Technology for improved airflow for added flexibility and breath-ability.
The body armour also features SAS-Tec ribcage padding. The ribcage uses a honeycomb construction for added flexibility to form round your body shape. SAS-Tec is quite similar to D3O but is made from a foam material instead. The foam also has the ability to harden up on impact to absorb the force.
The top is constructed primarily from a lightweight, breathable, athletic blend of lycra and mesh. The vest is fully ventilated to keep your body cool and comfortable. The lower back/waist belt support strap locks the vest in place. There is also support for fitting a neck brace to the body armour.
The Demon Vest X D3O V2 body armour is extremely versatile and can be used both in the winter or for summer sports such as mountain biking. Using D3O and SAS-Tec you get ultra protection that's lightweight and flexible to really keep you feeling comfortable and agile on the slopes, the top also works great as a mid-layer for all snowboarders and skiers.
