Hi Everyone,

I just got home from a great ride tonight but while on the trail I heard something slightly concerning. I was on a floater section of trail, in a middle gear, with trail mode selected. I was not pushing the motor at all, and I was not shifting at this point. While peddling I heard what could o my be described as a very sharp ping sound. It sounded like it came from the front of the bike but it also reminded me of peddling hard and shifting. So the chain grabbing a gear under high torque. This really was not the scenario though. I got off the bike and checked The front axle, that all seemed fine, I looked at my gears and couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary. So I continued on my way and the bike performed without issues and without the sound.
When I got home flipped the bike over with the power off to have a closer look and when I moved the peddles gently and slowly I could hear and feel what can I Lu be described as grinding. The video below has two instances of this. Thinking it might be grime from the ride and cleaned the bike and the sound somewhat went away but I could still feel it under slow speeds while using my hand. When I would move the cranks faster it went away.
I’m not sure if this is normal in this situation due to the clutch or if something is wrong. I feel the two items are not related but I’m new to this bike and unsure.
I did notice the chain guide was rubbing ever so slightly and I’m guessing that is why I heard the sound but I’m not sure.
When riding the bike there is really no sound other than a clicking noise which I can’t figure out but it’s almost like a cable is tapping the frame.
So with that. What should I be looking at? I’m taking it to the lbs for a new bike checkin but id like to point them in the right direction.
Thanks guys!

Remove your TCU on the top tube and put a zip tie around all the loose cables. This is potentially where a cable is tapping against the frame while riding and creating noise.
