A Levo hardtail comp showed up on Specialized Mexico website for 70,000 MXN ($3,865 USD) It is 120 fork, 29er with Shimano kit including brakes . . . it has Specialized 1.3 motor and 500wh battery. Worth considering or recommending to friends?

Gen 1 Levo hardtail for $4k? Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole! Hasn't the Turbo Tero replaced it and has the later motor, bigger battery in certain models, etc.

2024 Tero 4.0 has 70nm 2.1 motor and 500 battery - and costs about $4,700
(2021 Levo HT has 90nm 2.0 motor and 500 battery - and costs $3,865)

The OP says up there the one they're looking at comes with the 1.3

Are Teros that expensive in North America? Tero & Tero X 4.0 are £2500 in the end of season sales.
