Bike / Product Year: 2021
Manufacturer: Rockshox
Model: Megneg shock upgrade

Size 47.5 - 55mm
Asking Price: 60
Location Scotland

Description Rockshox Megneg for 47.5 to 55mm stroke shocks.

Did exactly what it was supposed to do and gave excellent mid stroke support and pop, but unfortunately the suspension design on my bike meant it ramped up too much and couldn’t get near full travel even with no positive spacers.

Only had 6 hours riding on it but not suitable for my weight or bike.

Only thing missing over buying new (£90) is the small sachet of suspension fluid but still some of the grease left.

£60 including UK postage.

If you don’t mind me asking, what bike where you using this on and what weight are you?

Sorry for late reply, system hadn’t notified me about it. It was on a Whyte e150 27.5. I’m just over 90kg in my riding gear. Think this may have contributed to my issue as it meant I was running close to 300psi to get correct sag.

That’s interesting, I’m currently at 300psi at 100kg on a standard SDU, I was hoping the MegNeg would give me a little more mid stroke support if I could get sag at 350psi but now suspect it would be too soft. Sorry for hijacking your advert, good luck with the sale.

Yeah, I don’t think it would be good for you. Max pressure on these shocks is 325. Megneg needs an extra 20-25% for same sag so you’d be way over recommended.
