Considering ordering a 2021 Eboxx G1. Anyone here own one with feedback? I currently own a 2022 Specialized Turbo Levo and looking for a second bike. Love the Levo but for the same price, I can get a custom Nicolai with belt drive. Thoughts?

Id be curious to see how it works out for you, if you get one.
The rohloff with belt drive seems like itd definitely have some benefits for emtb but it is a fair bit of weight hanging off the swingarm. Not sure if they use the rohloff e14. I think they make a hub with less gears, e10 maybe? If its lighter maybe thats an option. I dont need 14 gears on an emtb but i do like a wide gear range. Good luck. Thatd be a pretty sweet 2 bike quiver. Add an orbea rise as well and youd have the ultimate 3 bike quiver?

Nicolai G1 EBOXX E14 would be my dreambike.
2021 Turbo Levo Comp is now in use, i love it. But Rohloff combined with Bosch electronic...

Goodbye ripped derailleurs and streched chains!

Anyone has to share some user experiences?

Hello
I have owned the Nicolai G1 Eboxx E14 for several years. Meanwhile, it has almost 12,000 km on it. I have driven it over the Alps and in the bike park an my hometrails. Is simply a cool bike.
Since I have purchased this year the eFanes so the Nicolai is only driven in autumn / winter and spring in bad weather.

Very jealous of the EFanes, would be good if you could start a thread about it

How much you have serviced it? Drivetrain service intervals? Is it so "carefree" that i assume? :)

Hi
the drivechain is almost maintenance free just clean it with water. With the belt you can usually drive about 8-10,000 km.

I have broken one myself by too much tension.
Since the last AlpsX I have one in the backpack, because the spare parts procurement is not comparable with a conventional :p

regards Erwin
