Levo Gen 2 2021 Levo Comp 160mm Fork - Flip Chip?

I have a 2021 Levo Comp with 160mm fork. The flip chip came from the factory in the high position. It seems for those with 150mm forks, they put it in the low position. Should I keep mine in the high position or flip it to the low position? Concerned with the BB height.

Are you sure it is on high? It should be in low...

I thought maybe because the 2021 came from the factory with 160mm fork (instead of 150mm for previous years) that they started putting the chip in high instead of low.

We received from two different LBSs our MY21 Levo Comps both with flip chips in the low position.

Weird...and I don't think the LBS needs to touch that when it comes from the factory. It's already assembled.

I run my 2020 with 160 in the low position.. still tempted to go 170 on the fork

It's possible that the LBS got bitten by unreasonable customers that made a big stink about pedal strikes (Specialized Levos probably get more than their share of inexperienced bikers due to brand recognition, as opposed to some more-boutique brand), and so the shop decides to set it up in "safe mode" (at least in the context of pedal strikes) by default.
