2021 heckler battery upgrade/spare

Hello,

has anybody upgraded their heckler battery to a bigger one? I know the new 2022 heckler battery will not fit, but would the 630wh battery fit?

if no, does anybody carry an extra battery for extra long rides? Where can I get one, can’t seem to find them online.

Your only option is to get another 504 and carry it in your pack. You'll need a cover plate, too. A month ago I told my parts guy to get me one, and interestingly, it would be here by now. But after getting home and thinking about it rationally, it seemed like a huge hassle. I told him to forget about it, and then bought something else equally as expensive.

Well... I suppose you don't need the cover plate to ride the bike.
Or you can get out your tools and change your existing cover plate on the side of the trail while your mates wait around.
