My seatpost clamp just won't hold up my seatpost and the spec torque. It never really has but has gotten worse. Has anyone used another clamp or tried using a shim? If you tried either, how'd you make out? Thanks

I dont think a shim would do any good unless you have the wrong diameter seat post in there to start with. First thing you shold do is get the seat post out and give the tubes (post and frame) a good clean with break clean or the like, any lube will exasperate the slippage. Then re-install with carbon paste or Fiber Grip, Tq to spec and see how you get on. You should be able to get away with 2-3 extra Nm but if you over due it you'll find a sticky spot when actuating the dropper.

Second method would be go in dry with ONLY A FEW DROPS of Purple Loctite 222. or equivelant low streangth thread locker around the post. Mind some of the thread lockers are perminant and require heat to dissasemble so read the bottel before using.

Failing that a true hack method would be get a set of el-cheapo feeler gauges from halfords and wrap the thinnest gauge between the post and seat tube. Fair warning if you go that route because the frame tube is wallered out you'll only make it worse over time so i wouldent go that route unless the bike is out of warrenty.
