Selling my 2020 Norco Sight VLT 29. Reason for sale is I now have a condo at Snowshoe and am getting a DH bike in its place. It’s been a fantastic bike to bang out laps on. It’s geometry is perfectly modern, and the big battery + the carbon frame keep the weight in check. I bought this bike brand new from Downshift bikes in Roanoke (RIP) in April 2020. 1,893 miles on the odometer. (pictured) Only trail ridden, never taken to a bike park or a shuttle day for obvious reasons. I’m in Roanoke VA so it’s pretty easy for me to meet anyone on the east coast halfway to deliver the bike.
This bike hasn’t been abused in any way, but it has been ridden to it’s full potential as an all mountain/enduro bike. All the scuffs and scratches are pictured. I rode this bike in the backcountry with loose rocks and unkempt branches, which is where most of the scratches come from, rather than crashes.
The chainstays do not match because I broke the original ones. I contacted Norco through their online chat on their website, and they sent new ones to my local Norco dealer no questions, or receipts asked. Norco was extremely helpful through this process and really only kept asking if I was ok (didn’t cause me to crash, just felt like a flat tire at first) I also own a Norco Search gravel bike, and based on my experience with Norco’s warranty I’d for sure own another one (looking at their new DH bike actually)
I’ve never had an issue with the battery, and it’s not showing any abnormal signs of aging. The battery in these bikes is made by Trend Power (who also makes iPhone batteries), and service/support is covered through Shimano and Shimano dealers.
