Kenevo Gen1 2020 Kenevo Whining and Power Loss

I went to ride my 2020 Kenevo today and the power seemed greatly reduced. Specifically, if I put it in Turbo, still felt like it was trail. Went into my app and the Turbo Power level is at 100% and Trail was at 65% so it wasn't the programing in the APP. The other thing that I noticed was it was down 6 bars in less than an hour without much climbing. This bike used to have so much power and today, I was struggling to keep up with the others. Almost felt like about 30 or 40% assist. Also, it has started a bit of whining while riding, and I know it should be quieter and more powerful because I have a 2019 LEVO with the same motor and it is much more powerful, and much quieter. Any ideas? Is this the beginning of the end of the motor? Is it possible when I took it into a shop (not Specialized dealer) they updated the software and it is now detuned??? It is not great and if this winds up being considered normal, gonna have to put this bike on the chopping block. Interested in your thoughts and thanks in advance

Depending when the update was done, it's possible the acceleration response dropped from 40% to 0%.

But that wouldn't then explain why you were using more battery.

If you've got an injury you've not really noticed, you might be riding with a lower cadence which would give you less power and less range.

Could be a bearing failing or something similar, you'd think it would be equally tight in eco, trail or turbo though so if we ignore the whining, it would point to it being more likely a battery/cable/connection issue. Or the holy grail of a motor and battery both failing at the same time.

Did you have a heavy night on the beers last night ? ;):p

Thanks for the reply. Not a binge night for sure LOL. Since Everything looks good in the APP as far as exceleration, I think youre right and I should not ignore the whining. It would make sense to use more battery if there is a drag on the motor from something. To the shop tomorrow to see if they can check it out.
