Bike / Product Year: 2020
Manufacturer: Decathlon
Model: Stilus - Gen 1 Heavily Upgraded
Description ***Many Upgrades + New CX Motor + New Bosch Nyon still with protective cover on screen***

Size Large
Location RG27: Hartley Wintney

The frame has around 1000 miles ridden, and so shows marks of wear and tear. However its mechanically perfect.

I had an error code on the motor so had a brand new motor installed 37 miles ago as such this Stilus is buttery smooth and very quiet, just like a new bike would be.

At the same time the motor was replaced I decided to upgrade the Kiox to latest Nyon display unit. This still has protective cover on screen and is essentially brand new (comes with box etc).

In addition to new drivetrain and latest display unit, this bike has had many mechanical upgrades. These are listed below together with approx costs of each upgrade:

Stilus - £2,800
Nyon - £350 fitted
625w/hr battery - £760
Mullet set up running Michelin Ewild on rear & Maxxis DHF up front - £280
35 fork replaced with RS Yari which itself has been upgraded to Lyrik spec with a Debonair spring & RCT3 Charge damper. Now running 160mm front, 150mm rear. - £350
Tubeless set up front & rear - £20
Current saddle to be replaced with Charge Spoon saddle - £30

The bike rides beautifully, and will give many years of great service no doubt. It's had all the upgrades it needs to lift it from a brilliant value bike to much more exotic specifications, yet is priced at less than the current gen 3 spec which is nowhere near as good!

I appreciate the asking price is high relative to the bike purchase price, but the upgrades are significant in cost (and dramatically improved handling).

Pictures to follow in the next 48 hours. Viewings welcome.

That is the gentleman who bought my Stilus. I'm sure he will speak for himself but I will note he appears to have done a very good job in maintaining an excellent ebike.

Delayed reply as a late finish at work today.

Thanks for asking @Planemo. Yes, I bought the bike off @RustyMTB at 900 miles and I've covered 100 miles since. As such the photos are still fully representative off the bike's condition today (apart from the further upgrades)

@RustyMTB is a valued member of the forum and very active so this bikes history is well documented, but in summary it's exactly as described above!

Actually, the full battery story is when I purchased the bike it had a 625wh battery. I sold that because I had just brought a new 625wh battery (for a different bike I was upgrading from) which I wanted to keep because it just had just a handful of charge cycles on!

In short, only 1 battery included in sale per description, with approx 250 miles ridden.
