Having a brain fart here.... Been using raceface cinch cranks for the last little bit and need a little refresh on the shimano style.
When you're installing the crank arm onto the spindle do you tighten the bolt that screws into the spindle first then the pinch bolts on the crank arm? Or would you tighten the spindle bolt to locate the arm then loosen said bolt, tighten the 2 pinch bolts and
then torque the spindle bolt back down?
It might sound silly but when I took the arm off I had to loosen the 2 pinch bolts before the spindle bolt would come loose leading me to believe it was tightened before the 2 pinch bolts.
Crank arms are the fat Samox units for the e7000 shimano motor.
Thanks in advance guys!
