Hi Guys

I live near the South Downs so allot of my winter riding is on clayiy (not sure if that’s a proper word) chalky, slippy and sometimes off camber single track, often with roots and flint thrown in for good measure.

I’m looking to upgrade the 29 Butchers to something more confidence inspiring.

I’m currently thinking Maxxiss Minion DHF and DHR 11 Wide Trail in 3c compound or even Max Grip up front. Or Magic Mary up front with something else on the rear, or maybe even the new Eddy Current front and rear.

I would be keen to hear from other owners ref tyres, width, compound and casing.

Thanks in advance ?

I don't have a Kenevo , but live near the north downs so mud and clay, and am running mm 2.6's front and rear on one bike, and they are working really well in similar conditions.

I am using the DH casing Super Soft FYI - They are not the fastest rolling on harder conditions, especially when run at both ends, but out on the trails at the moment the performance in the conditions makes the faster than a lower resistance tyre imo
