Purchased new in April of 2020, my Levo alloy has started to make grinding noise. Of course I'm outside the 4 year warranty on the motor and even with the 20% off specialized is offering on a new $1,200 motor, it's a tough one to accept when my mileage has been low (500 miles)
While I've investigated my LBS and other LBS's around the Phoenix AZ area, no one repairs them, just replace. I considered buying a new full-power bike (I also have a Trek Fuel eXe) but then what to do with what once was a $3,500 bike that is now useless without a functioning motor, so I've bit the bullet and will have my LBS install a new $960 motor...
I've read countless posts from others here with the problem, so I know I'm not alone. I purchased a Specialized as I was hoping for reliability from one of the big brands...
Ugh.
