2019 Levo battery weight 500Wh v 700Wh

Hi all and happy new year!

A question to all of you 2019 Expert and 2019 SWorks owners out there.....

My 500Wh battery from my 2019 comp carbon weighs in at 3.135kgs on my digital kitchen scales and I am very interested to know what your 700Wh weighs please?

I was wondering if the 700 was actually slightly longer than the 500 and had more cells hence the extra weight and additional Watt hours or is it that the cells are more dense and heavier?

They are the same size within a couple of mil

The 700 Wh uses the new generation of cells

Anyone know if the 2020 Specialized 700 Wh battery will be different? Weight? Cost? Will it fit the 2019? When will it be available?

Yes it will fit the 2019

I am glad it is only 1.5 lbs more. Glad I got it.

No obvious change in dimensions.

Extra 680g for the 200Wh.

ah....damn... i thought 500Wh would be shorter and those extra 800g would be shaved from the very end - most important place affecting bike handling...
