1st Weekend Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 TM 2021

My long awaited 1st weekend with my new machine had finally arrived and I am certainly not disappointed with performance.

1. The bike - Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 TM 2021 - Mods Box 2 EMTB 9spd Groupset, 27.5+ 2.8" Maxxis Minion 2.8" 3C Maxx Terra Exo Proc Tubeless Ready Front Tyre (Medium Compound) & Maxxis HighRoller II 2.8" Exo Proc Tubeless Ready Rear Tyre (Hard Compound) Also has a tyre insert installed, Works Components 2.0 Degree ZS56-ZS56 Angle Headset, 5x 10cc Air volume spacers installed in the fork & 1x 1.02"cubed Air volume spacer installed in the shock

2. The Ride - 31.5km 2.54.44 Moving Time & 495m Climbing - Red Kite Trail Wetherby. 3. Still to early for a write up on bike but the future looks really bright, one thing the Box 2 groupset is awesome and after 30 mins I was comfortable with it. I have GX Axs on order so in 2 minds what to do, If anyone is thinking about the system just go for it 9 speed on an Ebike is just awesome. Bike is now cleaned, degreased and chain waxed ready for next weekend.

I'm guessing on your non e-bike it was the two big climbs you struggled with?
I always feel guilty biking past non e-bike riders huffing and puffing up those

Perfect guest it's an absolute killer not anymore though.

I only degrease my chain.

Haha yes I figured, just wondered how best to make sure I don't accidentally get anything near the brakes, maybe I just need to be super careful.

I keep well away from anything else I can’t be trusted, I just use a paint brush to apply degreaser on chain works really well.

What brand degreaser do you use? I need something that isn't a spray then.

I used product in picture I am sure it was from screwfix and not too expensive. I think i have had that bottle almost 2 years.
