Hi guys,

I semi impulsively ordered a new emtb media e140 8000. I'm my research I figured an e140 would be better for the longer exploring rides I wanted to do while still being able to do some enduro.

My question is how capable are they downhill? Like can you do everything a 160 can do but with less comfort? Could I do decent sized jumps?

I know on this bike the frame is the same, could I just replace the shocks if I love enduro more?

Cheers, James from Australia.

Thanks, but in is stock form the fork should be fine?
It's a Rockshox Pike fork, nothing wrong with that at all. You can do all sorts to one of those, if you find that it has shortcomings. I had a Pike on three different bikes, all good. I even upgraded from a Revelation to a Pike on my last emtb and I was very pleased.

Don't forget, specifications per model may vary by region. US-spec may differ from Europe, differ from APAC...
