I bought 1 UP aluminum bike rack at the whispered suggestion of a bike mechanic (whose shop did not carry this brand).
I got the strongest model, the 2" Super Duty Single for a 2" trailer hitch. The customer service guy said it's max weight limit was 75 pounds based on the swivel bolt strength at the tire rest.
Since my dual motor, dual battery, dual suspension E-Cells bike weighs 95 pounds I'm changing those bolts to much stronger SAE (USA) Grade 8 automotive bolts. This so I don't have to remove the batteries every time I transport the bike.
My friend has the same bike and rack and uses his 1 UP as-is and so far, so good. But I'm a belt-and-suspenders person so the Grade 8 bolts go in the rack.
