trek rail 9

I’m looking for recommendations for a bike bag for airline travel with a Rail 9 (large). Bike weight without battery is 21kg, so I’ve got ~10kg for a bag, padding, etc for a 32 kg max. I’m hiring a battery and will take the battery end caps and cover. I’m keen to hear recommendations and tips.

Who all runs a bash guard on their Trek Rail 9.8? im trying to decide on the best option for protection. Looking at the Rockguardz bash guard and e*thirteen. Question, are there any others out there I can order in the States? I really like the rockguardz but always cautious when ordering out...

Can anyone recommend crank arm boots/shoes that will fit a 2021 Trek Rail 9.8 XT? Have dinged the crank arm a couple times and it's getting ugly. Have done a bit of research, and getting nowhere. Cheers, Netbeui

Has anyone put a much shorter stem on their Trek Rail. E.g. 35mm or less? How did it affect the handling?

Hi Folks, Looking at getting a trek rail, and it seems I fall right in between sizes L and XL. I'm 6'1.5 (186cm), so just wondering what others have gone for and any advice. Ideally it would be best to test one at the LBS, however this isn't an option at this time. I think I'm swaying towards...
