Shimano battery warranty fun and games (Canyon Madison pass the buck)

Hi folks, (FYI I’m located in the UK) Purchased my second Canyon Neuron ON 8 about 11 months ago. I noticed the range dropping off early on so monitored the battery health on a monthly basis. It fell to 90% very early on, then dropped by 1% per month or two and now sits at 84%. It’s the...

    Teaching your battery

Mine went down to 0 miles rapidly and shut down the other day, when I had a couple of miles and a big hill left to do. I switched off and on then it came back showing 2 bars and I completed my ride fine.

    Levo to a Spectral

I’m 6 foot and went with the medium as suggested by their tool. Neuron rather than Spectral though. Feels comfortable to what I’m used to with a fairly upright riding position but everyone is different.

    2020 ebike - Spectral:ON

Be interesting to see how the new ones will be priced given the uplift in pricing for most ebikes that seems to be happening. I think my just purchased neuron:on will do me for a couple of years unless there is something substantially better about the new ones.

    Top tube USB socket

I think I read it can provide up to 2 amps, which is 4x what you usually need to charge a phone. So should be good to power or charge anything g you can think of really. My front light seems to last about 4 hours so not a requirement for me but I’m sure I’ll think of something to charge!

    Canyon Spectral On 7.0

First 25km was road, fairly flat 70% eco, 30% trail. Rest was gravel type terrain, about 600ft of climbing so not especially hilly, a few boggy mud sections. Half eco, half trail. Tried the boost a few times. Much much better than I was expecting on range.

    Sizing of spectral/neouron on

Hi all I am 6ft and having filled out the Canyon sizing tool it’s recommending medium. How have you owners found the sizing? Every other manufacturer I look at suggests large for my measurements and looking at the reach of the canyon bikes it’s pretty similar to all of the manufacturers...

Canyon on Cyclescheme Ltd cycle to work

Hi Folks, Looks like my workplace (large multinational) is using Cyclescheme Ltd for the bikes for work scheme this year. I see Canyon is partnered with Green Cycle Initiative to allow purchase of bikes for work. Is there any way I can still get a Canyon bike through the scheme even though my...
