Had to warranty a Reverb AXS two times and GX AXS two times also. Reverb is just a mess own it's on own by design and GX AXS had the parallelogram come loose (bushing play) causing poor shifting or ghost shifts. Their warranty is pretty good however as they send new components in retail boxes...
After having issues and issues with AXS components, went to my local bike shop to get a full X01 mechanical drivetrain installed.
Shop did XX1 cassette & chain for the same price which was pretty nice.
Only took a picture of the cassette.
1. What is your average ride length (time or distance)? 30km / 1200m
2. What size is your battery? 800wh
3. Does your average ride consume all of your charge? Yes, 0-10% left
4. Do you let your motor do as much of the work as possible or do your legs contribute fairly? A little bit too much...
Your options are all over the place.
You should clarify what you really want and narrow it down to 2 bikes at most (Enduro vs Trail vs SL).
My enduro pick in your list would be the Wild M Team and my trail pick would be the Trance X ADV E+1.
The highest permissible weight capacity bike that I know of is the Giant Reign E+ sitting at 156 kg / 343 lbs.
I would recommend the E+2 build which is priced really well with great components to start with (SLX drivetrain & brakes, ZEB Select & Fox Float X Performance).
Also comes factory...
Yes it's compatible.
Glad to hear they're working on fixing it, but time will tell here.
Anyway, I still can't ride that shock because of the low 300psi max pressure.
SRAM AXS drivetrains are hard to beat considering you have the money, I don't think I'll go back to cable. Shimano has no answer for it...
I'm also really happy with SRAM Code RSCs, but all other SRAM brakes are trash. Most people that didn't get along with SRAM brakes were running lower end...
You're out of warranty, Santa Cruz is not really responsible for this...their warranty support is incredible otherwise and it would be a poor financial choice for them to start covering out of warranty bikes.
Replace the motor, sell the bike and never buy Shimano again, moral of the story.
E-Bikes are not selling really well right now.
Ridiculous amount of 2022 eMTBs in inventory right now that didn't move that much even with sales.
Things will get ugly for dealers real soon.
I'm just wondering here, how can they get away from having a bike that looks like 95% Santa Cruz ?
Looks like this is a virtual pivot point suspension with the counter rotating links, just like SC.
There are no proof that the Yamaha motor would make it to 50 000km more than a Bosch or whatever.
I would say that you're most likely to run in some kind of issues riding up to 50K so I would consider a motor that shows great initial reliability combined with a great dealer network.
Can't go...
I don't mind ads normally, but here it's interfering badly with the basic thread list ''homepage'' of every forum section.
You're now basically scrolling down 4-5 ads merged in the same area as the thread titles skipping some threads or getting lost in the process, it can truly be confusing.
