so, little update for everyone. new 160mm crank arms are so much better for my riding!
I am getting less strikes and easier to pedal when cornering.
but.... the click came back... the bike was strippeddown pretty much completely and put back together bit by bit and it was still happening, at...
I have always been into keeping my cars nicely washed and waxed so I have been treating mine like my car paint.
I use a wash and gloss in warm water with a sponge and then polish it off with a microfibre cloth
Once it is completely dry I put on a layer of wax and allow it to set and then buff...
Not sure yet, but probably 160mm like my non ebike,
170mm seems too long for me
They didnt ship with the pedals on, but they had screwed some pedals in when it was built as they said they test rode it to make sure it was working.
I have these pedals and theyve been fantastic, the plastic...
Sooooo.... Touch wood I think I have found my issue. only done 35miles but it hasnt happened since.
I took the pedals and the crank arms off, regreased blah blah... (you know the script) and it was still happening but now I could feel it through the pedal, I knew it couldnt be the pedal as I...
this is slightly different to what you are asking but someone might be able to shed some light on this....
I have 2 (Different) bikes with the same 8010 battery in them so I ran a test on both batteries on 1 bike. (I only use 1 charger as the 2nd charger came with an EU plug)

I will get a better video over next few days.
Already checked pedals and even used a spare set (just incase)
I will double check the chain ring bolts
Crank arms have already been removed for a clean.
I have a suspicion it might be something to do with the chain stay, so I am going to loosen...
It sounds very similar to that! does yours do it all the time though, even if you spin the pedals gently?
Mine only seems to do it under pressure, quite annoying. but I have only recently cleaned and reoiled it and it didnt go away.
Little update...
I bought a shock pump and it had 70psi in it ?♂️
Set up my sag and played around with what felt best, it's now on about 165psi and feels much much better and now the lockout works, well it has a tiny bit of play but before it was almost as though lockout didn't exist
Thanks...
Hi all
I got my e sommet few weeks ago and it's been ridden sparingly mainly on roads and cycle paths whilst everywhere is shut.
It's done just over 200miles and it's started giving a clicking noise, engine on and off (video is engine off)
Doesn't do it when pedals are spun, only seems to do...
yeah I find when I have the motor off and I want to build up power I feel like I am bouncing everywhere and losing power due to the bike taking the force from the push down. I think I will have a test in playing with the suspension pressure to suit me more.
I am so used to having a full rigid...
I'm 5'10 and just got the medium and it feels small compared to my other medium, but the geometry makes it perfect and the medium frame means it's slightly lighter and easier to manoeuvre and throw around.
If you plan on doing quite a few trails and off road woods etc then go with the e-sommet...

I have tried alot of ebikes before settling on mine, I had a 5k budget, and ended up liking the vitus e sommet range and the Btwin Stillus
I got the bottom tier e-sommet and putting the rest of the money towards my own upgrades and its a shame CRC have such an awful customer service as the...
