What size are your Kenevos? I have a medium and a 36t wouldnt fit so went for a 34t.
Other upgrades to consider:
Definately change the tyres, butchers are guff, i run magic marys front and back.
Consider shorter cranks, i was getting loads of pedal strikes. Im now running 152mm Mirandas, not...
Just to clarify the process for measuring sag...its the compressed stroke measurement whilst sitting on the bike divided by the totak stroke length ie 19mm/63mm = 0.30 ie 30% so spot on...or am i missing someting?
you are the first ive heard about where spesh have withdrawn warranty. I wonder whether spesh are beginning to take a harder line. If so i imagine there are alot of worried people reading this. Keep us posted on how you get on sorting it out.
I noticed a big change as well after I got mine back witha new motor and firmware. I suspect that they are tuning down the motor to increase longevity.
I dont know the specific numbers re max power on the previous motor but the new motor definately feels down on power but i assumed it was associated with the new firmware update which took away the aggresive acceleration. Max power on the new motor is 580w.
Mine started getting noiser at around 400 miles and progressively got lounder until it started to get embarrassing! Took it in at around 550 miles and fair play to spesh put a new motor in but that did take 2 weeks.
I have just switched to 2.6 MMs from the 2.8 butchers. I have noticed more pedal strikes since changing so have just purchased some 152 miranda cranks which should sort the issue. The difference in grip though is night and day so definately worth doing.
