Hi LowLow, The original (rubbish) app has been discontinued, go to your phone's app store and update to the new one. When you connect to your bike it should tell you there is a firmware update available that you have to install to get the app to fully work with the bike.
I doubt that a firmware...
My Stance e+ Pro 29 2020 currently has v20200806000 updated through the new Ride app v 1.1.0.
Would be lovely if Giant actually told us what updates have been made to the firmware and also trained their Dealers, my LBS is clueless on versions.
Rob.
Giant Stance E+ 29 Pro 2020, had it 3 months, problems with firmware, surges if used in auto mode. Took it to Wales last week and rode it on country lanes, wet and cow sh@t. Washed it as per instructions when I got back except I didn't take the battery off before using a hose on low power. Came...
3 Weeks ago clipped the bars on my very new Giant Stance Pro 29 on a tree at the end of a section of North Shore so a long way down to the ground, landed on the top of my shoulder via my face. Broken glasses which poked into my cheekbone, always impressive to have blood streaming down your face...
Tried that, they're a nice bunch but haven't a clue, when they connect to their software it says everything OK. They are also too busy to get through to Giant as they are selling £10,000 of bikes a day!!!!! Will have to wait intil things quieten back a bit.

Hi Guys, I reported the Smart Mode issue to Giant UK and they eventually responded that the developer team are aware of the problem and are working on it.
Very poor that they have left the screwed version of firmware on the download still and that they have not informed their dealers of the...
Hi Riflegreen, I live about 1/4 mile from Maultway North so have been walking / cycling Barrossa & Swinley for the past 20+ years. Looking forward to getting back on the Red trail, some of those uphills were becoming just too much for the old legs!! Also be good when lockdown ends and people are...
Thanks Darren,
It was my wife (not a great cyclist) buying herself an e bike and flying up a steep hill, leaving me in the dust that prompted me to upgrade, she laughed as well.
Hi All, just retired my Norco Fluid LX as I am surrounded by hills, easy going down not so easy going up as the years pile on. Replaced with a Giant Stance E+ Pro 29, a few teething problems with the power surging at about 10mph (so well below legal limit) and smart mode not working, dealer...
