Thinking of some zeb ultimate, they seem to start at 160mm, is it possible to drop to 150mm on these with a air shaft change like most others? or is 160mm the lowest the zebs will accept?
Yep, have considered it, really it's more like 9 miles each way. Unfortunately there doesn't look to be any way to ride there without using the main roads otherwise I would, well not that I can see from maps, Strava, komoot etc.
Chain guide and new chain ring. Just waiting for these bloody restrictions to ease slightly so I can get out on some proper trails rather than the from the door riding currently. Only 6 miles to Surrey hills but dont feel comfortable driving out of area to ride.
Megneg arrived here too, what did you have before the super delux ultimate? Mines going on the select, didn't know if upgrading to the ultimate was worth it just for the leaver and compression adjuster, I take it other than that there the same internally
Yep, very stable. I keep mine in the van for washing after a ride etc. At home I use a normal bike work stand like others have suggested to get both wheels off the ground and the bike higher. Much easier on the back than bending down?
I was going for the one above from wiggle, just looked a bit flimsy to me for the weight of an ebike. I ordered one of these, similar design but very sturdy...
I got 2 from Amazon a few years back, have one each side in my van. I also cut down the length where it fits into the holder, so it brought it closer to the side of the van Looks like they're not available at the minute on Amazon, but here's the link.
I have a bike work stand type clamp mounted in the van, when not in use it's just a small metal plate on the side that the clamp slides into. Roll bike in, clamp and done.
Nice, I think from memory you are quite local to me.
Mine arrived 2 weeks ago, went with base spec and striped to frame and motor. I've sold off all the unwanted bits (lots!) and now just waiting on the few last bits to arrive and I have the spec I wanted (thats not offered from orange) for...
Nice, one of each. What size it's that charger? Looks tiny next to the surge. I'm still undecided between the two. As you sa, they are both the same frame. But just thinking the charger would. Be more suited / fun for the area's I ride
Can't seem to find much in the way of reviews on the orange charger, anyone ridden both that and the surge? Guess most people just go with the longer travel, but as they advertise the charger as a E version of the 5 would that not be a better option for most of the normal UK riding?
