Levo Gen 3 Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

Sadly I only managed 370miles before the jumping on the small cogs was unbearable. I’m now installed a new X01 cassette and chain. Then to hopefully avoid this happening again, I’ve shortened the chain and adjusted the b tension and have a 34 tooth chainring to install.

Yes and no, in essence the DT Swiss based hubs can use DT Swiss conversation kits and parts etc. The specialized branded hubs on the comp/comp carbon are likely a no go unless someone can identify a compatible freehub body. TBH I’m sceptical a compatible MS exists it’s possible there is a XD...

I would agree with @BAMBAMODA it was likely posted by mistake and has not been removed to shift the last few MY20 experts before the MY21 launch early next month. Here are the images which were posted on the facebook post on the SL owners group I sadly don't have a cut & paste for the...

Exactly my thinking a air shaft change is a cost effective tweak and I’m considering a cascade link. While it’s shame to lose the carbon rims the more capable suspension and braking package work for me. I also really like the cast battleship colour [emoji2]

I would be very interested to hear you’re thoughts once you’ve had some ride time in on these upgrades. I’ve been looking at the cascade link combined with a stiffer 160mm fork.

I would also like to do the same as I was discussing with @TomH79 yesterday the Expert comes with a DT Swiss hub but its unclear what would be compatible with the Specialized branded hub on the Comp / Comp Carbon. Hopefully its also DT Swiss compatible but it's unclear. "Specialized Turbo...

Purely based on the evens website I think so but suspect the only difference is a few additional colour ways.

Thank you, I’ve just got my wife a comp carbon. But i suspect getting a ms/xd freehub was going to be very challenging for the stock wheels. After riding her bike I’m sold I suspected I would be! But I’m torn between the Comp carbon and Expert as I consider to swapping out the fork for 160mm...

Are you using a aftermarket wheelset or have you been able to replace the freehub to micro spline for the stock wheels? Do you know if there any options to convert the freehub on the comp carbon to XD or Micro spline? “Specialized Turbo, sealed cartridge bearings, 12x148mm thru-axle, 28h”
