looking to buy a Spesh Vado Sl, I know the eMtb has the new 1.2 motor, but the current Vado SL has the old setup.
But I can’t find anything online to tell if / when the Spesh e commuters and hyrbids will get the new 1.2 setup.
Does anyone here have any insider knowledge of if this is even going...
Hi, realise this is an old post, but have just started using my Cannondale monterra 1 which has the Knox mounted on top of the stem.
I’d like to get a mount that fits to the bars (or frame top tube), but has the kiox behind the bars and low enough it’s not getting to get smashed in the event...
Thanks, I haven’t tried the Levo SL, I have ridden the Vado SL a few times and it’s good on the road, but it felt underpowered compared to my wife’s Bosch powered Cube and not enough for what I’m after for mtbing.
I would have been interested, but I’m definitely a medium in mtb.
I have tried a spesh vado and really liked it, and IIRC that has the same motor as the Levo SL, but for the trails I did want a bit more power. If I was going to take the hit for a motor and battery, I did at least want a bit more assistance.
I am leaning towards this, what’s the worst that can happen - I get addicted to the extra power of a full fat eBike.
if this is my first entry bike into electric mountain biking, then it’s not a terrible place to start.
Funds won’t run to two electric mountain bikes, not for the moment anyway.
if the higher power light FS eMtb weren’t so expensive, they’d probably do the job, well with a range extender. this can get expensive quickly.
looking to get my first eMtb. im not after a full on downhill rig, more interested in xc, with a bit of downhill.
I’ve been eyeing up all the light (Sl) models, which as far as I can see are the trek exe, orbea rise, pivot sl, focus jam sl, and scott lumen. they’re all quite expensive as they...
apologies for not replying sooner to this.
Firstly thanks for all the replies and it is of some comfort to hear similar stories. I'm now pain free, but blasted physio fofr a few months and a 6-8 month "journey" whilst my spine fixes itself, so even though I feel ok, some stuff is just...
First post here, haven't bought an eMtb - yet, wondered if the guys here could help with a question before I pull the trigger on an eBike.
Disclaimer; I have ridden a few road based ebikes and they've all been great. But I ride mtb and try to avoid roads if possible. I haven't ridden an eMtb -...
