Has anyone purchased the newer Heckler MX with the EP8 motor? Just wondered if that would make a difference on the power complaints some of the first gen Heckler's mentioned. Would consider Bullit, but very hard to find as others have said.
Went through the same dilemma as you. Called Trek, and of course they did not recommend changing to 27.5. Did not purchase the bike because of this. I'm 5'8" with 29" inseam and stand over is deal killer (or nut) with the Trek rail bikes. Will probably end up with Levo Comp in medium...
Curious what you think of the bike. Test drove one this weekend, and was surprised how much I liked it. Also test drove Levo SL, Levo comp and Trek Rail. Really liked SL, but know I need more power. Rode the Levo comp in McDowell mountain park for a half day. Probably the best overall bike...
Just talked to them. They hope to be getting in any minute. Really like the 27.5 setup. Hoping for a little lower stand over than the 29rs of the other brands in the running.
New rider looking at the Rail 7. Have not been able to find one to test. Specs say 77.3 cm stand over for medium. I'm 5'8 but have a small inseam of 29 inches or 30 with shoes. Anyone else with similar inseam ride the medium?
