Finally decided to keep my gen 2 levo instead of getting gen 3, and bought AXS wireless dropper instead (much cheaper than a new bike.. lol)
while installing the dropper remote, I was thinking if I also could ditch the levo remote to clean up my cockpit, since I barely ever use it. Quick emtb...
Hi Paolo, first time using Blevo yesterday, I put my phone in my pocket, seems it was not recording properly. My garmin showing 21 miles / 3000ft, Blevo 18.9 miles / 2500 ft, so perhaps Blevo stopped recording mid ride. I do not want to put my phone on the handlebar. which setting I need to...
Will Blevo void the warranty? I have just get a used Levo 2020, and warranty is transferable.
Originally 29er, but the seller put 27.5 both f/r, I really dig it, enjoying it as 27.5 ebike. however, the max speed now only 18.5 mph , I am in US, would like to get to 25 mph only for tarmac or...
Also shimano battery I think maybe they use 18650 cell. while YT decoy, Orbea Rise, Norco, they use their own battery, maybe 21770 cell, better density, their batteries have much better range than shimano's.
My external 504wh battery dropped to 76% capacity, and Shimano US warranty it, no questions. I don't remember how many cylces, it was less than 1 year, about 3500 miles. The lbs took my old battery to be "disposed properly".
I ride mainly in trail, very few eco and boost.
Bikesdirect has it:
here is the link : Derailleur Hangers And Thru-Axles for Bicycles, Mountain Bikes, Road Bikes, Hybrid, Comfort and More Save Up to 60% Off New Bikes
Basically same bike as motobecane Halboost or the ebike version HAL eBoost
I emailed Shimano, and he responded basically saying after watching the video, the lateral move is still within the spec, it is safe to ride.
I'll just keep riding it.
Thanks Gary.
so far no angular play, just that in / out movement, like 1-2mm which Shimano said it is normal. I tried it with my both hands pressing the chainring, also move around up/down.
My E7000 has also developed a lateral move a bit after 1900 miles in 7 months. I don't recall having this movement before.
I called Shimano USA, and was told it is normal after awhile with 1-2 mm movement.
I don't feel it while riding, no unusual noise either, all seems normal.
I am afraid the...
Maybe ride in trail mode instead of boost too long. I rode in trail mode, climbing over 1 hour, no issue. I use boost occasionally, 1 time using boost less than 10 min on long boring road climb, no issue.
I have contacted bikes direct, they want to see more pictures. I purchased the bike from them this January. They thought I crashed hard, or rotor got stuck, or some kind of abusive use.
I was just showing you guys the wheel, and did not mention the problem with the rim nor tires, as people may...
I was starting riding on mellow trail, only about 1 mile in then this happened.
my guess is loose bolts, or over torque the bolts and crack the mount. I was riding pretty technical trail a day before, luckily didn't happen there.
No warning, no rubbing, no noise, all was good, then boom.
do you...
try to spin more than mashing. spinning is easier on the drivertrain, motor, and knees.
I learn to spin more on emtb than on my reg mtb, trying to be somewhat easy on my drivetrain for durability, and more range on battery.
I know some people like to mash, putting a lot of torque using higher...
Shimano call it Trail mode, Bosch call it emtb mode, same thing. both are good, natural feel.
Sales guy just wants to sell more expensive bike.
here in US we have 20mph limit (32km/hr), for most of my riding, 20 mph is enough. but occasionally I'd like to pedal over 20 mph on a long flat...
