Hi, been reading about chain life. I checked mine several months ago only to discover I had done this abit to late. So I've carried on riding.
I'll cut to the point, connected to Mission app to discover I've done just under 4000km.
So what I hear you say! As it happens it's the original chain...
I have owned 2 levos both with 2000 - 3000 km on each . I have had no trouble at all with either. First one didn't like jumping off the bike rack while travelling at 100 km.
I've had a couple of mountain and road tandems.
I would say fit is important the right size for you and your stoker. We had great fun on ours, riding all the trails that i could do solo.

That's where i purchased mine from...
Small bum bag, enough room for tube gas ect a few chew PLB on the strap around the waste. This works well for me, can carry a waterproof top in if needed.
I have a Levo Comp, this is my second one. I have the power settings turned down to give myself a challenge.
This is my settings;
Eco 20%
Trail 30%
Turbo 80%
Assist turned down to 80%
I do get where you are coming from.
Went for the green color. Was going for a 2020 bike then saw that 2021 came with fox suspension and shimano. Saved me changing my forks, brakes and shifters.
