Chaining from SRAM is still not available. Has anyone used a X-SYNC 2 stock chainring? While hunting for a 94 BCD chainring I came across this information on the Wolf Tooth website. The Transmission compatible chainring (Drop-Stop B) tooth shape is nearly identical to Eagle (Drop-Stop A), but...
That is what I like to do when I am riding by myself or with friends with full-power bikes but when riding with friends without e-bikes I like to stay with the group. This is where the lower power bike is more appropriate. Currently, none of my riding buddies have full-power e-bikes so the SL is...
I have both types of bikes (Levo and Kenevo SL). I think it mostly comes down to how or what you like to ride on your bike. Also, if you ride with friends and what type of bikes they have. I primarily use the full power bike for trail building when I am carrying a heavy backpack or don't want to...
Here is the exact text from the SRAM Website page: Will SRAM Eagle Transmission fit my e-MTB?

I found these videos very informative on how a Brose motor is put together, the possible water ingress issues and upgrades. Nice to see that there is some service options available.

Been using the skid plate for several months with zero issues. Not sure if I mentioned it but you should drill a small hole at the low point for draining out any water that might get behind the guard.
Has anyone figured out how to get the "new" walk mode to work? For me, when I press the button the crank spins super slow. In a comment above someone mentions the wheel having to complete 2 rotations. Is this what will cause it to actually do something? Since I am typically using walk mode on a...
Finally got my bike back after 3 months and a week. So far so good but the Walk Mode is useless (as mentioned before). Pressing Walk button only spins the cranks at about the rate of a seconds hand on a clock. WTF?
Hope you have better luck than me. My bike has been in the shop for 10 weeks waiting for a "new" motor (2nd one). Looks like Specialized can't keep up with the demand. I suspect then put a hold on all motor replacements until they can send out the "updated" versions. FYI I am in Canada.
Turbo all the time :) 75% of the time I am using it for trail building. Other times because I have the high capacity battery and never run out. Also, a fair bit of climbing. I had the previous Levo with the older motor for a year and had no issues riding the same way. Weighing in at 135 lbs I...
Second motor failure :( Tooth belt buzz then wizz... Only lasted 5 months; 300km. I also have two friends who's motors failed. I sure hope Brose have or are working on a fix! Replacing with the same motor is pointless.
Thanks for the bash guard idea Kombos. I opted to go with thinner Kydex (0.7 mm) which resulted in a really close fit although it may not stand up to a big hit. Here are a few pictures of the end result.
Unfortunately, this thread is relating to the new "Brose Mag S" motor. My bike was only 7 months old with about 700km when the motor failed. I will add though, that given the number of Levo's sold the failures may be a small percentage.
Finally got my bike back. The replacement motor has a different chain line as the chain ring is about 2mm closer to the motor. This makes the chain guide rub and it looks like it just will not work anymore. Anyone else have this issue? My shop said that they had the same problem with another...
