Rob, sounds like you are still riding Sonni (after listening to your Are short travel bikes pointless podcast since you mentioned 200 mm/200mm as your choice for one bike to do it all).
I liked the geo numbers a little better on the Sonni and might have bought it instead of Vioma as a trail...
Rob, did you try the new Vivid Air that came with the frame? Would love to hear your opinion.
Bought the Super Deluxe coil for my old Levo when it first came out…couldn’t find a cheaper coil with HBO…the price was right! I wonder how much better the newer model is.
Seems like the Sonni is...
I got it with the Vioma, I think it is the short one.
It just contacts the frame at bottom out and my seat slammed clears it…thought I might need to take it off.
Edit: the Fidlock bottle’s top barely rubs the Vivid…I have to loosen the lid to prevent the rub.
What is the next best thing to new bike day?
New shock day! (Rockshox Vivid Ultimate Air)
Also installed on my baby (K0) Vioma is a OneUpComponents V3 180 mm dropper (just fits my 29” inseam).
In the next few weeks, gonna have the LBS mount a 180mm Mezzer Pro.
It was a tad too slack (62...
The boxxer looks great (Pinkbike suspension product of the year; seems like it might be a good match for the new Vivid Ultimate; both are Vioma options now), but I think it is at least a pound heavier than the Zeb.
I’ve wanted to try a Mezzer…it may drop my Vioma front end by 12 mm (lower A2C -...
I ordered a Mezzer Pro 180 mm ($700).
I will try it later on my Vioma, and since it is internally travel adjustable (using spacers) to 140 mm, if the steerer is left long, I can transfer it to another bike.
Is anyone running a 180 mm fork on their Vioma? Or another bike with less travel in...
I didn’t realize that my SDU’s reservoir was to the left because of the shock mount offsets, so the reservoir should be to the left (I don‘t want to reverse them).
The HBO adjustment will probably require taking the shock partially off, whichever way I mount it.
If I mount it with the...
First (really easy) ride on my K0.
I shouldn’t be riding with 2 hernias and limited vision in my right eye, but my BPPV/vertigo has finally been gone for a week, so I thought I’d give it a try.
The bike has been sitting in the box since early September, it arrived the day of my retina...
Chris @ Pole told me the tune for the Vioma is R25 C30…did you order one with a Vioma, or from somewhere else?
The retail shock I found was tune R25 C34 X2…not sure how much different this would be than the Vioma tune or what the differences are for the X0 - X4 lock out.
I haven’t tried to...
Has anyone tried the new Vivid Utimate Air RC2T on their Vioma?
I wish I would have had that option, I would have spent $383 to get it instead of the SDU with HBO.
I’m wondering what happens if you remove the module after you activate it…like a thief might.
I would expect the bike to give an error code or just not power on.
I don‘t have mine installed yet, I just have locking enabled for my phone and the Kiox 300.
My Vioma is missing the cable for the Kiox 300 display (I have the wireless mini remote)…anyone know what It is and where I can order one?
I sent an email to Pole, but I’m hoping to find one in the US.
They found the box at LAX and my neighbor picked it up.
I hope To get my neighbor to open the boxes to see if anything is missing….I’m not allowed to lift anything over 10 lbs…I can’t even move the box to open it…bummer.
