I rode the stock suspension for 2.5 years as it was totally decent unless you have tried custom tuned setups. With the stock setup, I would constantly blow through the rear travel on smallish drops and was always paranoid about that.
^ few months ago I splurged and got an E-Storia which was a...
I have one of these albeit it is much shorter. I have been very happy with the fender but most definitely do not ride in the muddy wet conditions that those in the UK are brave enough to slog through.
This guard looks very interesting to me, I would also love to hear more about it. I was unable to figure out if this piece replaces the stock engine cover, or if it is something that attaches to the outside of the guard like one of the carbon fiber bash guards.
Waiting to hear more.
I stuffed my kenevo in the back of a Seat ibiza with the seats down and front seat pushed forward for 2 years. It was kind of annoying having to maneuver the seats all the time but actually worked fine. Only problem is that it turned my car into a 1 seater but such is life.
Around 32%, which can only be possible with internal valving work I assume. First few rides I was getting more pedal strikes than I like, after adding 2 clicks of low speed it is now in a sweet spot where I have no desire to fiddle with it anymore.
I have been running the EXT E-storia for 4 months now and it is nothing short of AMAZING. I am interested to hear the spring rates for guys that weigh less than 200 lbs. I am 5'10 and weigh an easy 270 lbs or more (S3) geared up and am running a 550 spring which has been 100% perfect after...
I have had the EXT e-storia for a few months on my kenevo and all I can say is Amazing! Kinda ruined me riding stock suspension probably forever at this point.
Went to buy a heavier spring to end harsh bottom outs, found out I was a victim of the Kenevo rear spring cracking issue, sold my liver and ended up walking out with this Italian beauty
I ran the stock wheels for 1.5 years and they held up considering the abuse that I put them under by weighing over 120kgs with the riding style of an out of control freight train blasting through rocks without much of a real line choice.
I actually am still running the stock front wheel but...
I have yet to try a rim insert but not because I am opposed to it by any means, I am just terrified of tryin to fit a tire on after the insert.
I always run Schwalbe super gravity casing tires front and rear. Right now I am on a Big Betty SG 2.6 and a Magic Mary 2.6 SG in the front. Rear tire...
I blew up my hub today on the stock wheels, I guess being a fat bastard and trying to tow my friend on his acoustic bike was more than it could take. The hub went on a solo climb through slow single track.
In any event, I replaced the wheel with a Hope pro 4 Fortus 35. I was supposed to get...
Yep done that! Solution to the problem: SPECIALIZED - ROCKGUARDZ
This piece has paid for itself 20 times with all the damage it has taken. Still going strong 10 months in.
