Specialized has always had crappy colors. My Blue S-Works Gen 3 Levo is just ok, but is basically crap. Who makes the color decisions at Specialized, the Founder? The color looks like the Rose Gold Color Apple used some years ago!
suddenly this is all getting interesting. Let's see what the US pricing becomes, and we'll all decide then. I am more keen on the direction of this bike, more, and more. Now whether this is the next coming of J, then we'll have to see. For most, switching to this new bike might be a wait thing...
Here is the USA, you can get the AMFLOW through a Chinese supplier for around $6500 delivered to your door. Add a few custom bits to this base Model and you have a really capable bike and what I believe will be 5-7 pounds lighter. I think Specialized missed the mark by not getting these bike out...
I think a side loaded battery option would be perfect. Load in the size you want base upon your riding needs and weight desired. If Specialized does this then it will be done correctly, even thought they have failed in the past, they always work on making it better. Give them credit for being...
yep, you can get a Gen 3 Works frame for $3,500 and going lower. When they approach $2500, pick one up and build with discounted prices for under 4k? Drop in a Cascade link, then it's a capable and rowdy bike.
I think it has plenty to do with remaining inventory. Not a Specialized fanboy, but they may actually benefit from selling out the old inventory that by most accounts was still a relevant bike.. it still ranks in the top 5 and it was designed in 2020 and sold in 2021. Pretty impressive and worth...
Good point, but here in CA, 14k = $15,295 with tax... kinda still the same situation. I think the Amflow as a trail bike, and Crestline as the Enduro. You're still ahead. Again, this Specialized think may or may not be all we are thinking it's going to be. Many have caught up.
At that price, like $18,000 ish USD, and then add CA sale tax and your close to 20 USD!!!!!!, then I will say no thanks. No matter what the power, that's not justified. I cannot fathom how good it could potentially be, and for the "fleet" just keep my Gen 3 for Enduro, and buy an Amflow for the...
One thing that is worthy of consideration is what will become of the Levo SL?? While we all feel the new Gen 4 Levo will blur the lines with lower weight, more power, better battery integration and extender, etc, etc,- then what will become of the Levo SL? Is this not a really special bike if...
Bikes like the Orbea Rise use the battery extender first, the default to the main battery. What an interesting thought. Ultra light bike with only a 250-300wh extender while the main battery is removed.
I'm not sure Santa Cruz offered the Vala with a 600wh battery to save money. Why would they? Would they be saving $50 USD at their cost? It was more about weight, for sure. While I do agree about the extender would have been nice to just "include", that's unnecessary. While I did purchase an...
Indeed you may be correct. It will have to be different than what others such as SRAM will be able to offer. Specialized will want their own thing. Who can blame them.
So if what we see in the marketplace is true can we assume, S Works get premium torque say 120nm, and others get 100nm? They could restrict this with hardware not just software. 2. Yes, choose the battery that fits your needs the best, say 450, 650, 800wh plus range extender of 250wh. Yes...
Wondering how much this Levo 4 delay has cost Specialized? This whole thing (albeit maybe Amflow threw a monkey wrench into this) has been nothing short of a disaster for sales. How many have chosen another brand and maybe loving the new Bosch motor and have converted and loyal to a new brand...
