Description Hello all.
I've had my e sentier 2019 for about a year now but hardly ever ride it. I think it's done about 300 miles on the clock. I came off it last year and damaged the...
If I'm honest I'm not a good enough rider to throw my EMTB down hills and clear gaps. I like to adventure on sunny days along woodland trails and use it to commute in tarmac, thinking about getting some ardent race tyres for it as the tyres in it are overkill. So your post would make me happy in...
I agree completely. I have had my bike for nearly 2 weeks and not had an issue with it and use it nearly everyday for commutes and maybe a weekend ride out. I've not had a problem with it yet as its only 2 weeks old however if and when in the future I feel the need to buy another I would pay the...
Well I've had mine for a week now so I'm already in the depths of it all. Just hope it works fine for 2 years while I have the finance on it.
The way I look at it is, if I can pay my # years interest free finance in it and it works perfectly for them 2 years and then breaks , I would be a...
My bike arrived 5 days ago. Do I need to register it for any warranty purposes or will the retail company (CRC) have all the details and proof they need of purchase.
How do you ride Gary?
Just your well known on this forum for being a good rider so are talking your doing 10 foot drops and 30 foot gaps? Just wondering if my poodling and commuting and odd 6 foot jump will cause the same problems. Or if your big style kind of riding the motors just arnt up to...
I think that could be his new Vitus e sentier? Not good news seen as I've just got mine. Although sat outside a LBS while they get the battery to fit properly. Just doesn't seem right we pay soo much for these bikes and they have massive reliability issues.
Just got my vitus e sentier a few days ago and took it for its first little off-road experience today. Small jumps and bumps. But the battery sounds wobbly and after some jumps and drops the bike would litterlaly just shut off like I had removed the battery.
I've seen alot of people with this...
So I have the vitus e sentier for a few days and took it to the woods for the first time today and over rough ground the battery wobbles abit and it creates a little but if annoying wobbly noise.
But the main issue is when I do any kind of small jump or drop it disconnects the battery and then...
Just rang my home insurance (more than) who said to put my e bike on the insurance in and away from the home it would be an additional £350 for the year. This is more than my car insurance ???.
So I'm sure it's been brought up before but at this current time is there anywhere anyone...
So I ordered the license and came back within 10 minutes. And now bike is in U.S mode and works perfectly. It makes the bike so much more usable. I'm not too fussed on making it any faster than the 20mph limit as it just feels right. I really don't know why they don't just let it be 20mph in...
So worrying that these are large investments to 99% of people, more than a descent second hand motorbike or even car and yet this thread has opened a can of worms on reliability. With the majority seeming they are not very reliable ?
I agree I thought people would be saying minimum 3 years etc etc. Not 1000km before motor needed changing.
Abit un nevering really. We sold my wife's car as I live fairly local to work and the Ebike is on interest free finance for 2 years but will cost a hell of a lot less finance than having a...
Cheers mate.
And lastly is the key sent instantly once you pay? Just first time with a new e bike and don't want to instantly void any warranty. But because I also do use it for commuting I just want that 20mph limit.
Arrr cheers. Also if anything went wrong with my motor and I needed warranty. Would they be able to tell with this that I had specifically done something to void warranty?
Thanks in advance
If you don't mind me asking what did you cha ge your wheel circumstance too? I tried with the app and it was a percentage base. I changed it to -5% and updated which said it did it. But still the bike maxed out at 25kph. I am using latest firmware for bike.
Also on the app there seems no option...
Hey all.
So I get that anything can last a lot longer if it's treated right with love and care and serviced properly etc etc. But has anyone any idea of how long a EMTB should reasonably last. 10,000 miles, 20,000 miles. Not necessarily the battery but more the motor and components.
This is...
