Clicked to hate but sweet build! haha... 2.8 can be fun.. but double down casings are worth the weight penalty on ebikes, 2.5 or less (2.4 rear) , way better handling especially in the wet.. dry & loose the plus tires do pretty good. The support that stiffer carcass gives is a game changer when...
Anyone have any experience with the normal cascade link Specialized Turbo Levo Link (2022-Current) | US | Cascade Components
I don't want to long shock but some added progressivness would be welcome. Struggling to find a balance with volume tokens. Im on the stock Float X with the 0.6 token...
Just to report back.. I set trail to 80/100 and only rode in trail last few rides and have not had same symptoms. Maybe it's just enough off of full power to keep heat down, or maybe because the ambient temp has been lower.
Oh just re read.. no RS to RSC not worth it, I went from R to RSC and pretty happy but still want to upgrade to something else. Mt7 or the hopes look dope as shiot
I talked to specialized and the dealer they had nothing to offer other than change the tuning settings to reduce power.. no fun! Haha
Didn't notice it much today.. but was much cooler.. maybe a temp thing? Idk hard to say. Sounds like it's pretty normal albeit odd.
Is that a power meter you were using to gather data? Seems most likely, was 30c here yesterday... motor temp on app looked to be in range, motor was at 68*c.
Bummer.
Anyone ever feel like the levo throttles down the power on successive climbs?
Climbed about 1000' on fire road.. bombed down single track then back up.. I swear half way up it bogged down to where I couldn't tell much difference from eco to turbo.. continued even after reaching the top?
I've...
Lol no! Just don't wash them everytime! It's really simple and the reason why some people have multiple motor failures. It's just really hard for some people to not wash their bikes! If you have gone through 3 motors in just a few hundred miles you are doing something wrong.
Yes, I wouldn't wash that.. just let it dry and the brush off.. sold my last bike with over 3000 hard miles on it..
Fwiw I never washed my acoustic bikes either.
No need unless you are servicing something like bearings, even then I'd do it by hand.
Never ever wash your bike. It's the reason some people have problems and other don't. I suspect it's why so many in uk have issues.. just let mud dry and brush it off, then wipe with wet microfiber towel. No need to be hosing it down.
Hey it's your money, just pointing out it's a strange way to go if you are a slow timid rider. Maybe one of the reasons is you are over biked, Not underbiked. Big bikes take big speed and big terrain to shine.
I ride dirts bikes, there's no comparison that makes any sense between the two...
If you are slow and timid you definitely don't want a 38.. they don't work well at slow timid trail speeds, it will be an impediment. I just upgraded to a Zeb 170 and it's absolutely amazing but you got to be charging or else the 36 wins out by a long shot.
Just save yourself some money and...
