How many ascents did you make on the day ? All on one charged battery ? I assume you did not use the uplift service.
Looking to go there myself in the coming months, looks great.
I did PPdS in 2004 on a non-Ebike (obvs), and also rode the whole area a couple of years ago whilst based in Morzine (hired a Nukeproof Mega), it's an amazing area to ride, you will have a great time! Next time I go, EMTB time.....:)
I have to admit that if I encounter someone struggling up a climb, I ease back and trundle along 20 metres behind, as I well know how it feels climbing unassisted and don't want to annoy anybody, but that's just me who's been through the whole MTB evolution from late 80's to the present day.
Had my first one the other day when I passed a group of guys on a flat fire road section, which I normally go quickly on anyway as it's boring (and have done so faster in the past on clockwork bike!)
Just ignored them as I wasn't trying to beat/cheat anyone, just getting my ride done.
Hi Karsten
Please can you let me know what rear shock set up you have, with regards to parts I would need to order ? The bike is in for the fork update (to 150mm), and I may get the rear sorted too, from 135mm stock Rockshox air unit, to 150mm Fox Van coil.
I can then pass then onto the bike...
Thanks for the reply @khorn , good to know the battery will work OK.
I'm now looking into replacement shock options, I see some on the forum have gone with coil shocks but they seem very expensive, so I would rather stick with an air shock if there is one out there suitable for a 100kg+...
Hi all
Long time, no post but now back in the saddle and looking forward to some great riding this year!
Couple of quick questions please...
1. I'm thinking about replacing the rear shock on my Levo FSR 2018, any recommendations for a better air unit please (not coil) ? I'm pretty heavy (17.5...
Thanks Rob, nice to see an alternative to Fork Juice, I'm onto that!
Still not had to clean my Levo other than a light wipe down, but then I'm very conservative when I use her...;)
Test rode a Trek Powerfly 7 early 2018, decent looking, well handling and responsive bike but couldn't come to terms with the noisy whirring motor, the noticeable drag when motor off (for test purposes) and also the unreliable placing of the wheel magnet on the spokes which moved a few times and...
I agree that the "testers" seem to have adopted a fair weather approach to checking the product, or so it would appear. I have a 2018 Levo and have not yet ridden it in muddy conditions, keep the traditional hardtail for those duties, sad state of affairs I know, but I do not want to put my...
Thanks DR, certainly a great place to ride from previous visits many years ago, I'd certainly be up for another go later in the year.
After some enforced time off, I am finally back :)
Hi Nick
I will be up for a ride sometime, live over in Marlow so pretty local! Got a bit on at the moment so off the bike for a few weeks, but hopefully in the future.
Steve.
