I am on the 10 while descending. That's what I am worried about.
While I don't think anyone will take back used components, my real concern is doing damage to the frame. That's just kinda a game over situation.
I am still pretty far from having to replace the slx drivetrain, so...
To each their own, but I spend a lot of time in that high gear. I often use my ebike as a Echairlift.
I will be interested to hear other experience with clearance. Especially, those who do send it on jump lines and aggressive terrain.
I think it could be a big deal if the chain is cutting into...
Any signs of the chain rubbing on the frame now that you've (likely) ridden it a bit?
Looking to do this once my drivetrain wears out a bit more.
