The whole point of this thread is to make sure I'm putting my money in the right place and there's been a wide consensus that it would be safer to opt for a used emtb from one of the main bike manufacturers for similar price.
I've taken that onboard and shifted to that option. Nothing wild...
Definitely not a scam or stolen. Has all the receipts and invoices and is 30min drive away from me so can see the bike in person. But I doubt he'll accept £3k with all those components upgraded.
That's what I wad thinking, even though it's sik, it's a bit ott and a specialist bike. Not really an all rounder or suited to a beginner.
But then again can't you limit/lock some of these shocks for the flats?
Only thing is there's not many reviews of it and the few there are say it's akin to a monster truck whilst the other enduro are 4x4s. Meaning it's heavy and not as nimble as the others.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks guys I have begun looking at alternatives.
I've seen these two. Which one to go for?
2023 Norco Range VLT C-Team - 29 inch wheels - 180mm travel front and back.
900Wh battery!! 150+ miles of range in eco and 50+ in boost.
This is a race team spec bike:
SRAM XO T-Type 12 speed...
The more I think about it the more I realise I have to be careful about the carbon components and frame.
I've been to China and met various suppliers and factory owners and had an English guy I know very well who has a business there for last 20 years.
What I learnt is everything is...
Unfortunately this is a brand new build at factory. So can't really use used higher end components. Everything will be new, which obviously dictates end price so had to get a balance.
Looks wise, it's not too dissimilar to some top end manufacturers, just needs a decent colour scheme to bring...
Thanks guys, all makes sense. And for Trail and XC the geometry and components should do just fine. If I get serious about DH later, I can always sell it and get an enduro and won't get stung on depreciation. (y)
I did think the same, however one clue leads me to believe they are genuine. I originally asked for RS Deluxe Ultimate and they came back saying the factory is out of stock but the Deluxe Select+ is available.
If they were knock offs then they would easily be able to get various quality of...
Wow, that's excellent info in regards to chain ring.
Is that 1800w from the Bafang M620? I might get the factory to tune mines to that as well.
Can you tell me what battery model you have?
Thanks (y)
Thanks for all the comments on the brakes.
However has no one got any comments on the RS Domain Gold RC? Thought front fork was one of the most important and costly component.
Any good?
Rear I think is covered as RS Super Deluxe Ultimate is a very good shock.
Are they a good match or is...
