On the Bosch POWER readout is that rider power only or is that assistance power only (not including rider power) or is that rider power and assistance power combined?
So for the PL Carbon, to remove the seat post you have to cut the cable, which according to the pic includes cutting the housing too? I realize the seat post removal isn't a regular thing but that seems excessive considering the other version has a simple bolt. I haven't had much exposure to...
Very informative post.
Regarding your last question, I don't think timeframe is a good measure. I mean, you could have done the same mileage in twice the time and said no flats in 8 yrs. Your 1000mi/48mo is only 20mi per month. Many do 1000 mi in 6 months. That's not much life from Tannus...

I had a similar thing happen with my Tektro brakes. I would put the bike on my 1up bike rack and when I'd get to my destination the rear brk lever would have lots of play. Pumping would allow it to firm up.
I would like to have an app option to toggle over-run off or on. Personally I'd like it off (Bosch). I don't like "relying" on it (or getting used to it) as it isn't something my non ebike has. It's not a big deal but would prefer the option to toggle it.
I'm curious how the kcal are calculated. Since it will display (at least with Bosch) without HR attachments, wonder if it's a general formula for distance (and possibly elevation change?) in each mode or actually using wattage. At the end of the ride I always think the kcal reading should be...
