I might go the steel rail route. Had the volt tightened to specks and stayed within the range of the etched markings on the rails. Snapped right at the clamp edge. Saw another video with a user having the same issue and looks like it broke in the same exact spot. Oh well.
Thanks for the reply. I do wear padded pants and have gone through the measurement process. I did like the volt, very comfortable. Pissed the rail snapped and not from a crash. It was not cheap in terms of cost. My typical rides over rough ground is usually between 12 and 15 miles. Guess I...
Hey emtb peeps, I know the saddle butt equation is a personal thing, but what are your recommendations for comfort. The saddle that came with my Orbea Rise M10, fizik, was like riding on a brick. I switched it out to a volt with titanium rails which was great. After a few months the rail...
Sometimes the ride takes you to a place when it’s no longer about the ride.
This month marks 1 year switching from a life time of road biking to MTB and I haven’t looked back.
Update….so went through the reset process described, did a 10 mile cruise and no problems. Seems to have done the trick. I owe you a bourbon or a beer 🤣🥃🍻
I have the latest version from Etube but I do know there are some features that can only be reset via a dealer/shop so that could be an option. I am going to talk with Shimano support to determine if they have seen this before. I am a bit on the bleeding edge.
Well it’s not full auto shift on 1x12. It’s called free shift more of a hybrid. Software shifts when coasting anticipating torque applied given the terrain. 1x11 you can get full auto
My experience with Orbea (I have a 2023 M10 Rise) is in 3 parts. First, when I called customer service for a couple different questions/issues they have been helpful. Second, emailing has been good but always several day delays for a response. Third, not so good. Ordering parts, derailer...
So I am having an unusual problem and wondering if anyone has seen this. I have a 2023 Orbea Rise M10 with upgraded derailer, DEORE auto shifter integrated with EP801. For the 4th time, the software’s brain has gone nuts. For no apparent reason it shifts into 11th gear and when I try to down...
This is a the wiring diagram for the EN600. Also you can use the EtubeRide app and get some of the same info. I don’t believe you can switch profiles without going through Etube not EtubeRide. Anyway her you go o
I am no expert just an old guy flying through the woods and occasionally making friends with rock walls and trees. Been riding with G-Force for a year and they have saved my ass and legs from all sorts of destruction. Comfortable and a cool tech that responds to those unwanted wacks on...
Been a road biker my entire life, 2 older boys have been after me to try MTB. Turned 70 so don’t have the legs I use to and decided to go eMTB. Wanted a bit of assist, light weight and a bike that doesn’t look like a tank on the trails. Purchased an Orbea Rise M10 9/23. Haven’t been on my...
On the chain I just put on a Shimano m9100. A little pricey but noticeable difference on shifting. Orbea uses the m7100 on mine it’s less expensive and did the job. Either way it will require taking some links off
